Our Puppy Class is the perfect way to start your puppies training off on the right paw!  

In our Puppy Class you will learn how to use positive reinforcement to make training fun. This will include information on any and all puppy-raising questions, jumping, biting, potty training, as well as how to train all the basic skills such as Sit, Down, Stay and Come. 

Each of our puppy classes will end with OFF-LEASH playtime for fun and to help in learning proper socialization skills. 

Exercises you will learn:

Sit, lay down, stand, stay, leave it, release cue, settle spot, come when called, and many more!

*This Puppy Class is for puppies 8-16 weeks old OR 16-24 weeks old. Please see the class schedule below for age restrictions.  

Class meets once per week for 6 weeks. Each class is 1 hour. 

Puppies attend each class.
 

Teach your dog the skills every dog should know!

This will include: Sit, Down, Stay, Leave It, Intro to Loose Leash Walking, and coming when called. We will also begin covering real-world distractions, and how to prevent unwanted behaviors such as jumping up, barking, and more.

This class is great for adult dogs and puppies 4 months or older. 

*Class meets once per week for 6 weeks. Each class is 1 hour.

Have you already built a foundation of basic skills with your dog? Our Advanced Manners Class is for those ready for the next step in their training journey. This class is focused on continuing to build your manners and life skills by adding distractions, distance, and duration to the cues your dog already knows - while also learning new cues and skills you can take with you into real-world environments.

*Class meets once per week for 6 weeks. Each class is 1 hour. 

Dogs attend each class.   

The AKC Canine Good Citizen program contains 10 skills that we will be practicing throughout our 6-week class. 

After taking our 6-week course, use your newly mastered skills to take the AKC CGC Evaluation - Once passed you and your dog will have the opportunity to receive your Canine Good Citizen Award!

We suggest dogs have already taken a Basic Manners Class and/or already have a foundation of skills before taking this class.

Coming when called is a life-saving skill every dog and human should know. Have you been trying to DIY your Coming When Called and found it’s not working so well? This is the class for you!

We will teach you how to get your dog focused on coming to you when you call or whistle. You will learn how to use a long line so you never have to run after your dog again. You will learn how to keep them safe when out and about in your neighborhood or at your local park.

*This 4-week class will be outside at a park practicing real-life Recalls with distractions. Long lines will be provided for the safety of all students.

We all want our furry family members to come on our adventures - but having a well-behaved adventure buddy is even better!

In this class, we will meet at an outdoor or pet-friendly location (in the Oak Grove area) each week. In the course of this 4-week clinic, we will discuss safety, equipment, leash skills, and impulse control techniques to help keep your pup calm and cool this summer!

*Dogs in this class must be dog/people friendly with some basic obedience skills - please reach out if you're unsure if this class is the right fit for you!

Do you wish your pup could relax on a mat? 

This class is centered around teaching our dogs to target and relax on their mat. We will be covering Go To Mat, Down on the mat, Stays, and more.

Join us for a Fun with Tricks! 

Our dogs can do some pretty cool things.. we just need to teach them how! In this class, we are teaching our dogs different tricks to show off to friends and family. We will cover things such as Shake, Roll Over, Sit Pretty, Chin, Targeting, Spin, and more.

*This class meets once per week for 4 weeks
